This book is very insightful and easy to relate to. If you've been through any type of pain from relationships with your significant other, you can see yourself in this book. I recommend this to anyone who has a steady stream of bad or abusive relationships in their life because it's targeted directly at you.
I would also recommend this book to any woman out there, because the information provided can be applied to any area of your life.
I believe that there is also plenty that men can glean from this book, and they should not shy away simply because the target audience might be women.

In a very clear and honest way, Pamela Hart reveals the 5 steps you can take ACTION on to help heal your heart. (I emphasized the word ACTION because this is not a book to skim through for the sake of just reading.) It's very clear Pamela's Hart heartfelt intention truly is to help bring healing to your heart and transformation in your life. From the start she asks the reader to make a commitment (an agreement) you make between "You and You" to start a new life right away and you sign and date the agreement. Pamela states that she has designed the 5 steps to heal your heart, help you get back UP and to move forward. I bought the kindle version so I drafted my agreement on purple paper cut out in the shape of a heart (that's just me going an extra "step" LOL) and then I wrote out my agreement to read through each of the 5 steps and personalized my commitment to take action. As I write this review I am on STEP 3 and I've already been positively impacted by steps 1, 2 and 3! Pamela Hart shares openly and with courage personal life experiences (ie-suffering from physical and verbal abuse in relationships and how she played a role in allowing it, an abortion that she didn't really want to go through with and the steps she needed to take in healing from that, her imperfections in parenting yet realizing she could improve by how she thought and spoke to her children, and a whole lot more). The author shares with such honesty you can feel her heart and everything she felt going through those experiences. (I was moved at one point to the point of tears.) And she shares with PURPOSE To show how she had to make some decisions to change and transform her life to CREATE A NEW and BETTER LIFE for herself and those she loves.
I can say with certainty Pamela Hart STEPPED UP! Her life is totally different now from what her life was like before and for the better! I'm inspired to believe for and dream for a better life where the sky is the limit. I now have 5 steps to work with and I'm stepping UP! I will IMAGINE BIG because it has worked for Pamela and will THINK better and use my mouth to SPEAK only words that help me manifest the life I desire. (Note Pamela Hart makes it a point to credit the people who helped change her life —she mentions authors, books and materials she has read that helped her in her own personal transformation.)

God has allowed Pam Hart to share her past experiences with others to let them know that they too can get back up again and live in spite of what they have gone through. By following these five easy yet difficult steps at times will cause you to walk in a place of healing, complete deliverance and restoration.

The book reveals her feelings and her lack of understanding that kept her in abusive relationships for years. This is very moving and helpful if you've every experienced this type of life or not. I Love the part about setting boundaries which I now know is very important. I Love the book and highly recommend it.
